This GORGEOUS number is designed with three different vintage textiles in black and gold! Kim found these dead stock textiles, from the 60/70s era, which were originally intended for furniture. She combined them for this unique round-shaped bag. These textiles are so gorgeous: big gold roses on a black ground for the main body, contrasting with an elaborate top border design, topped with gold floral tabs that hold the rings to the bag. The pleat down the center is a silk dupioni, and allows for expansion. The bag is all hand cut and hand sewn -- and is designed with 20 different pieces of fabric. A true labor of love! A nice medium size, large enough for every day. Very lightweight. The straps are a strong outdoor textile. The inside is lined in a cotton velvet with an inside zipper pocket and closes with a magnetic snap. Wear it over your shoulder, it sits just under your arm for a smart look. Always made in the USA. This bag is vegan (no leather).
